Vivek Patkar
Career History

Vivek Patkar joined the ACL in November 2003 as Clinical Fellow to work on CREDO project.
Vivek’s main clinical interest is breast onco-surgery and
main research interest is in modelling clinical decision making process.
He studied medicine at Grant Medical College in Bombay University {1991- 1996}.
He was awarded an MS in General Surgery in 1999. He worked at Tata Memorial Hospital as a registrar,
spending one year in surgical oncology, then two years specialising in breast onco-surgery.
Before joining ACL Vivek was working as registrar in the breast unit of Guy’s hospital.
Outside interests
Trekking and mountaineering.
